Greetings, and welcome to Matt Bisson’s personal web-site! I am a software engineer living in the Boston area, and have been since 1998. When it comes to software, I enjoy solving the hard problems — the ones that nobody else wants to deal with. I love taking on that problem, getting into all the messy details of it, and coming out on the other side with an elegant design that will solve that problem for years to come.

I have a wide variety of interests, and have tried to present them as best I can to you, the web consumer. You will find anything from my résumé and a brief biography about myself, to my photography, to opinions on cars, software, and politics. People are frequently asking me for software reading recommendations, so I put together a page with books I like and another with links I visit frequently.
